Dennis grew up in California obtaining a B Arch from UC Berkeley. He is a retired USAF Major. He worked in Boston and Manchester as an architect before starting his own firm in 1980. Dennis Mires, The Architects has been awarded HBRA Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards, Plan NH Merit, ABC Excellence in Construction, NH Preservation Alliance, Manchester Historical Association Awards due to Dennis’ leadership, wisdom, and design excellence. Dennis also received the NH Clinton Sheer Award for Excellence in the NH Architectural Community in 2019.

Founded in 1980 by Dennis Mires, AIA the firm quickly grew adding partner John Urdi , AIA and then Steve Peach AIA, LEED AP. Early on we developed a vision statement that still resonates today:

As an eight person firm providing comprehensive architectural services we have the flexibility to meet dynamic schedules and complex programs. Our staff of experienced architects and creative graduates provides a combination of skills and backgrounds that results in innovative solutions that are practical to implement yet sensitive to the critical needs of energy efficiency, sustainability, and a better quality environment. Partner
Michael is a licensed architect with design specialty in Hospitality, Multi-Family, Retail, Educational, and Religious architecture. His passion is to cultivate lasting client relationships through attention to detail, budgets, and the highest construction standards. His educational background includes studies at Norwich University, an accredited BArch from Wentworth Institute of Technology and overseas Master’s studies at the Universities of Sydney and New South Wales, AU. NCARB, NH, MA, RI, VA, FL Licenses.
Project Manager
Lono brings the Pacific with him having grown up in Hawaii. He obtained his undergraduate BA from Wesleyan University and his M Arch from Boston Architectural College. Lono joined the firm in 2002.
Project Manager
Caroline was born and raised in France. She obtained a French Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and worked in the Aviation industry in France and the US. She changed career and graduated from VA Tech with Master’s of Architecture. She practiced in Northern VA before joining the firm in 2016.
Project Manager
Nesreen was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon. She is a licensed Architect in Lebanon where she obtained her master’s degree in architecture and is on her Foreign Architecture path towards licensure in NH. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Nicols College, Dudley, MA. In her early career practiced Architecture & BIM in Beirut Lebanon, when she moved to the US she worked as a project manager at a local firm in the Upper Valley, NH.
Nesreen Joined Dennis Mires, in August 2022. She is passionate about culture, calligraphy, and nature. She lives with her husband and her three boys in Grantham, NH.
Architectural Designer
Zach has a background in residential, hospitality, and interior design. He graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2013 and joined the firm in 2021.
Business Manager
Kaylin uses her 11 years of managerial experience to provide superior client services while regulating internal office communications and duties. Kaylin joined the firm in 2022.

John Urdi has been a part of Dennis Mires The Architects for roughly 35 years. John continues to assist with keeping the firm on task and is a treasured part of the company. Over the firm’s history John was integral to securing national clients and managed many award winning projects.

Dennis Mires PA The Architects has the depth and experience to offer the full array of design services from initial Programming and Planning through Schematic Design, Design Development, and Contract Documents to Bidding and Negotiations and Construction Administration. We are prepared to provide additional design services in Sustainability issues with our LEED experience and energy efficient design background. In house Interior Design services are also part of our arsenal of skills.
We have the flexibility to quickly provide initial explorative design hand and BIM modeled sketches to define the concept and programmatic requirements. Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the primary medium for our design talents to generate more elaborate three dimensional virtual models and fully detailed interrelated computer generated construction documents. We are also one of the only NH Firms to be a dual-platform BIM office (working on both Mac & PC’s).

Responsibilities
• Assisting with large and small projects with design, document development, and

building progress.
• Review project type zoning and code requirements to develop a project within these
constraints.
