Seacoast Science Center

8,000sf of new construction was added to 2,000sf of a renovated existing building for a new Interpretive Center within the existing park. The Architects programmed the facility with DRED, Audobon Society, UNH Sea Grant, and the Friends of Odiorne, and developed alternate site concepts with corresponding building concepts. Design development was refined using study models. Contract Documents were developed with numerous alternates to maximize the value of the project funds which were comprised of 50% state and 50% privately raised. Construction Administration included coordination with ongoing exhibit design decisions. The project grand opening was held June 1992.
