MHA Millyard Museum

Working with exhibit designer, Joe Viamonte, The Architects developed 15,000sf of exhibit space in an existing mill building. They proposed a new handicap accessible entry on the south side with super structure that suggests the former mill and provides artifact niches as statement of new use. They also provided new handicap access at the west entry to connect Commercial Street to an orientation exhibit in the lobby that connects to US First. Developed 1,000sf of changing exhibit area; office space, retail space, and 1,500sf of multi use education and function space. Completed 2001.
