Londonderry Presbyterian

After refining a program and master plan, The Architects developed in detail a Phase I program to expand seating in the Sanctuary, provide additional classroom/meeting space and make the unified complex code compliant and handicapped accessible. The solution involves approximately 6,000sf of addition, 4,000sf of significant renovations to the classroom wing and renovations to the 3,500sf Sanctuary building. The work is also organized to accept possible future phases that might include a multi-purpose hall and an additional classroom wing. The unique organization sensitively respects the nineteenth century sanctuary that is a contributing building to the historic Londonderry Town Center. Construction was completed in December 1997. Phase II construction was completed in September 2001.
